Otto W. Brandt

Otto W. Brandt was the Saginaw City Attorney from 1978 to 1988 and has served as attorney for Thomas Township (Saginaw County) from 1990 to the present. Otto is a member of the Saginaw County Bar Association (Treasurer 2003 – 2004) and of the State Bar of Michigan (Municipal Corporation Law Section). He served on the Character and Fitness Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. Otto graduated from Niagara University in 1965, and attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1968. He was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 1969, and is also admitted in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. He served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps from 1969 - 1973.
